Some Good Advice on Identity Theft Prevention PDF Print E-mail

March 9, 2018 - Even if you don't click on every link in your email messages and you shred every document that has your name in it before you throw it away, identity theft continues to get harder to avoid. Data breaches alone last year resulted in more than 50% of adult Americans having their social security numbers leaked. Recently, WABC News in New York told the story of one young mother who suddenly found out that her credit report was getting bombarded with new inquiries. She took corrective action immediately and was able to avoid becoming a victim. We found the report to have some good advice so we're bringing it to our readers here.
