This is our first year for our "Mastering Money Basics" Contest. This year's theme is, "If Money Doesn't Grow on Trees, Where Does Money Come From?" The contest is open to children in Nebraska in grades K through 5 and is designed to get them thinking about how money and credit "actually" works.

Submissions for the current contest must be made by February 29th, 2012.The schools or home-schools submitting the winning entry will receive cash prizes of up to $1,500 to spend as they choose. Contest winners will be announced on April 15th, 2012.

Please watch our site, as we hope to grow this contest, to encompass all states over the next few years.
