Minnesota Supreme Court Issues Ruling on Personal Privacy That Could Have National Implications PDF Print E-mail

November 17, 2011 - The MN State Supreme Court has decided that it is illegal for hospitals to collect and disseminate the blood of newborn children without permission from the parents or the state legislature. Since  other state also do this, the court's ruling is likely to be reviewed in other jurisdictions as similar law suits move forward.
